Looks like an remake of an old B Movie. The script was horrible plus the special effects the plot and every think else. I'm just gland I only paid $1.99 for it. What a piece of crap!!!!!!!!!

I had a chance to see an advanced viewing last night and came away fairly happy. There are 3 distinct story lines that get are completed well. In a way, It's a no-nonsense version of Independence Day with plenty of action, human drama, and patriotic flag waving. Think of it more of a movie about what people do in extraordinary circumstances that just happens to be set in the middle of an alien invasion. Acting performances and dialog are solid for the most part. There are certain improbabilities but overall, it's not over the top like having Powerbooks giving aliens a virus. It's shot in that Bourne 2 shaky cam style so you probably don't want to sit too close unless that's your thing. It does lend to the chaos of the movie so it's not bad thing. Retreat, Hell!

Best war movie in a long time! you need to go see this action/war movie ASAP. Do not wait until it comes out on DVD to see it, its a must see in the theaters! If you liked movies like, Greenzone, or District 9 and Black Hawk Down maybe the Hurt Locker and Independence day, Battle La has all of those movies in it alone! If they don't make a part 2 of the move ill blow a nut... GO SEE THIS MOVIE :) Good acting, good action, it has some good drama in it, and even some sad moments. It has awesome picture and CG (computer generation). I'm 15 and I loved it! My dad loved it! Even my 12 year old sister liked it! This movie is surprisingly awesome for kids, ESPECIALLY TEENS and even Adults! OK ill shut up... But just do yourself a favor and go see the movie. Peace

This is the best movie I have seen in awhile. The acting to me was good because you could feel the emotion from the characters. People giving this a negative review need to watch it again. If you know nothing of teamwork or serving or watching your closest friends get hurt or killed then you won't understand the emotion I am talking about. Very good movie.

I just saw the preview screening. This is a totally awesome movie that kept me in the edge of my seat the whole time. Great special effects and great sounds. Definitely the kind of movie to see on the big screen. Well worth the money !!!!
